This morning, we went to Dolphinaris in downtown Cozumel. A picture is worth a thousand words so here are the layouts (Emily and John went diving in the afternoon which gave me time to myself to knit, read, and scrapbook!)
John took most of the photos except for a couple of REALLY great ones like these that I had to pay an arm and a leg for. You can tell which ones were taken by John as we were facing the photographer while our back is to John. I almost gave up on the belly ride as I'm not a good swimmer and you have to swim out to the middle of the pool to give the dolphin enough room to accelerate back to the platform. I was the last one to get the belly ride and Olympia, the 20-year-old dolphin was obstinate and decided she was done! A new dolphin (I believe is her son) took over and he was fast! I screamed as you can tell in the photo!
