No. I'm not in the hospital for myself. Today, Emily is at the hospital for an infusion. We got here at 7:30 and will be here until 3 or 4. Emily was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis a couple of years ago. Today, she is getting Rituxan for the first time. If this medication work, she'll only need this medication once every 6 months which will work when she goes to college.
I brought my shawl, the Drift socks, and crochet hexagon blanket to work on. I finished a pair of socks last night and promptly cast on the second Drift socks.
I'm just loving crocheting the blanket. I love the change of colors so often. I packed the 202 hexagons I have on the blanket and it just doesn't make sense to pack that. Then, I realized that I can just make a baby blanket when I'm out and about and when I get home, I join the baby blanket to the mama blanket! Woohoo! Why didn't I think of this before? I'm so bringing this project to California.
I bought a couple of sets of mini skeins from Cephalopod Yarns of the colors I don't have (in ziplock bag). Here's baby:

On Wednesday, John has to go to a different hospital to get his knee manipulated. He has had the flexibility he should have. We have to be there at 5. Be home by 10. Yep, more knitting.
Emily said I talked about her today so she should be on the blog. We have to wear masks due to the flu that has been going around.

Heading to lunch now with my nephew.

I hope this new medication works for Emily! And good luck to John tomorrow! My fingers are crossed that they both have successful days.
